This yellow 1930's American Austin is an all-original vintage open midget race car ready to be driven or shown. It was built at the ship yards in Los Angeles during WW II. It was raced and driven on the street in Los Angeles, then sold and driven to South Dakota. It has a 1946 South Dakota title. The fenders and rear bumper were added when it was made street-legal. The headlights are late 20's cowl lights. The front axle and rear end were narrowed. The hubs were adapted to take 12" rims. The modified drive train is early 1930's Austin American. The Austin American 46 CID L-head 4 cylinder motor, radiator and shell, 3 speed manual transmission and differential are complete. The grill bars are 1934 Ford. The midget runs and drives great and is fairly fast. Here is an exceptional opportunity to own a truly original early midget race car.  Please call 406 318-0270 for details about this restorable classic project car.
