This silver 1941 Ford Series 1GD 3/4 ton express box camper van conversion is a very unique and well-constructed vehicle ready to be restored. The truck has a commercial sheet metal and wood custom express freight box when has been added to the truck at the back of the cowl. There have been some modifications to the exterior of the box. The fronts of the fenders have been scooped and the front bumper has been shortened. Some of the grill bars are bent and a couple bars are missing. The right windshield glass is broken. There are small dents in the body and box but the body is solid and rust-free. Some of the box running lights are missing the lenses. The driver door has been filled in with plywood. The steel sliding right door is stock. The rear doors have been filled in with a wood-construction extension and storage deck. The interior is about 7 feet wide and 12 feet long from the back to the dash. The front seat is not stock. The back inside is done in wood paneling. The interior includes a propane stove with vented hood, sink, propane under-counter refrigerator, 4 person table and a hinged upper bunk above the table. The truck has a later mid-50's 215 CID OHV 101 HP inline six cylinder Ford motor and original four speed manual floor shift transmission.
