This red and black 1903 Oldsmobile Curved Dash "Surrey" replica is a very well made reproduction ready to be driven, shown and enjoyed. This is a full size curved dash replica with 65" wheelbase. It was build in 1958 for Dyer Products by the E.W. Bliss Company under the brand name "Surrey". The metal body is very good and the paint looks great. The seat is goog. The car features sturdy wood spoke wheels and automobile tires. The brass-plated lights are powered by a 12 volt battery. The Surrey is powered by a 1 cylinder Cushman 8 HP gas motor with 12 volt electric start. The motor should be replaced with a modern engine.Power is transferred to a 2 speed transmission with reverse by way of a centrifugal clutch. Unlike other curved dash replicas, the Surrey has a differential which makes it more sure-footed and less likely to get stuck. The Surrey comes with removable folding top (not shown).
