This two-tone white and Canyon Copper 1958 Studebaker Transtar Deluxe cab V-8 1/2 ton pickup is a scarce model classic truck ready to be restored. The Transtar Deluxe features unique side trim, chrome door window shades and two-tone paint. The step side pickup bed is missing. The windshield is broken, the rear glass is gone and the door glass is broken. The front bumper is tilted. The top-mounted front fender turn signals are gone. There are add-on windshield post-mounted side mirrors. There is a dent in the right front fender above the wheel well. The right door wind wing post is missing. The left fender is dented in behind the wheel well and the door is dented in the lower area. There is a hole and rusted area in the left upper windshield post. Otherwise, the body has solid, dry western desert sheet metal. The pink and white interior is mostly complete. Some dash knobs and controls are missing or damaged. There are two add-on dash gauges in the center panel. The horn button is gone and the turn signal control is loose. The seat core is there. The floor is solid. The chassis has add-on heavy duty springs in the back. The optional 259 CID OHV 170 HP V-8 motor is complete except the air cleaner is missing.
